Aufrax® Fiber Hardener is a colloidal inorganic hardener, also known as a hardener, with a temperature rating of 1260°C. Generally used to improve the surface wind speed resistance, abrasion resistance, and surface corrosion resistance of fiber blankets and modules, fiberboard or other porous insulation products.

 

Typical applications including:

 

• For surface hardening of ceramic fibers or porous insulating materials;

• Corrosion resistant coating;

• Surface coating for ceramic fiber blankets exposed to high airflow and high temperature

• Hardener can be applied by surface spraying or brushing

• The hardener should be kept in cold environment for a long time as far as possible
